Dutch Shepherd?

I wasn't sure if someone at Bruce Pit had told me that Chica was a Dutch Shepherd or a Belgian Shepherd; I think they said Belgian. Another person was certain she was a Malinois. Take a look at the photos in the Wikipedia article on Dutch Shepherds. They sure do look like her!!! I will no longer say that she is part German Shepherd, because she sure doesn't look like one. I looked at the Belgian shepherd page and she does not look like that either. This is what the Malinois entry says about brindle colouring:
If a dog represented as a Malinios is brindle (clear stripes of different colored hair) it is probably a Dutch Shepherd Dog or a mixed breed, although the possibility exists that it is a "throwback" to a common continental shepherd ancestor.

Now if I could just find out if Dutch Shepherds have long toes - maybe she is not part Greyhound either!

Doggie destructa

One day last week, I came home to find that the builder had cut all the big trees down as he had promised to do. When I went to let Chica out in the back yard, I found the moulding on one side of the patio door scratched away.

When I went up to use the washroom, I found dirty pawprints all over the bathtub.

The next day, I went down to the basement to do laundry and found a scratched hole in the drywall between the bottom of the basement stairs and the laundry room.

She really doesn't like loud noises!

The hat didn't stay on very long, but doesn't it look cute on her?
