Chica and Spice in the snow

Chica has been enjoying the weather this year. She loves plowing through deep snow, but also just skittering across hard-packed icy snow. She loves the cold. Just came back from a nice walk with her, Steve and Spice at the Pit. The wind was strong and bitter, but the dogs were in heaven. Chica ran ahead, so I pretended to walk the other way and called her. She scooted at full speed past me going in that direction. Then, I turned and walked the other way again and called her. Once more, she ran full-tilt by me going the other way. She was so happy. Spice, too, was chugging along, tail-wagging, smiling. Spice really loves going to the off-leash park. She growls and barks at all the other dogs. I say she's a little piranha fish because of the way she goes after the other dogs. She doesn't hurt anyone though. People just laugh at her because she's this little mop and her bark is so funny. Spice just seems to love going after other dogs. She wags her tail when she does it. Today, she was so full of beans, she ran after another woman who was out walking her dog. I don't know if Spice got confused and thought it was one of us or if the woman had treats in a pocket, or what, but Spice went really far along with her and didn't seem to be all that keen on coming back to us. Chica and Spice don't love each other, but they mostly ignore each other.
