Chica in winter

Chica just loves the snow. Spice makes dog angels while Chica barks for snow balls to be thrown for her. There is supposed to be a lot more snow coming soon. She will be wading through it, snuffling around. I wish I liked it as much as she does. I intend to get my snowshoes out and we'll go for a more adventurous walk one of these days.

Tonight, we knocked on our neighbour's door and asked if her dog Duke could come out and play. Chica kept trying to get his attention, but he was focused on his ball - a partially deflated soccer ball that he adores. She got to chase it a couple of times, too. Her tennis balls would get lost in this snow.
