Chica's Christmas vacation

Chica had an excellent Christmas vacation. First, she visited her Russian friends, Laura, Anastasia and Petrovich, at Hal and Leena's house in Toronto. She seemed to really enjoy being in a dog-house - or dog-palace. A selection of bones to chew on, chew toys to destroy, off-leash walks in the ravine and on the beach by the lake, and a treat of turkey in her dinner bowl. Yumm!

After a day at home resting, Chica was off to stay at Marie-Eve's place, a dog-sitter with Bone Voyage. Chica had a great time staying in a lovely condo in downtown Ottawa where she was taken for many walks and on some interesting adventures. She got to run with Marie-Eve and friend when they went cross-country skiing by the river! She got to visit Marie-Eve's friend's print-shop! Bonus - she was well-behaved the whole time - no walls scratched, no orders ignored, no extraneous barking. Marie-Eve was even able to leave Chica outside a store while she ran an errand. She is willing to sit for Chica again, so that is a great back-up for when Debbie and her family are not available!

Now, she is back at home, taking another break. What new adventures await!
